Rs.685 billion allocated for ADP in the budget proposed for the fiscal year 2022-23

The social sector has claimed a major portion of 40 percent of the ADP, while 24 percent has been allocated for the infrastructure sector, whereas 28 percent of the funds have been proposed for other programmes and special initiatives. Smaller shares of 6 percent and 2 percent have been set aside for the productions and services sectors respectively.

This budget will focus on bettering several sectors and developmental projects such as the public investment-led growth, inclusive and balanced regional development, transformation of the agriculture sector, human development through better skills, etc. These sectors and topics will be used as the guiding principles for the next year’s ADP.

The documents shared reveal that Rs.154.5 billion has been allocated for special programmes. This includes Rs.125 bn for the universal health insurance programme, Rs.89.5bn for the sustainable development programme, Rs.10 billion for a road rehabilitation programme, and lastly Rs.5 billion for the VGF and land acquisition for various development projects.

سماجی شعبے نے اے ڈی پی کے 40 فیصد کے بڑے حصے کا دعویٰ کیا ہے، جبکہ 24 فیصد انفراسٹرکچر کے شعبے کے لیے مختص کیا گیا ہے، جب کہ دیگر پروگراموں اور خصوصی اقدامات کے لیے 28 فیصد فنڈز تجویز کیے گئے ہیں۔ پیداوار اور خدمات کے شعبوں کے لیے بالترتیب 6 فیصد اور 2 فیصد کے چھوٹے حصص مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔
یہ بجٹ متعدد شعبوں اور ترقیاتی منصوبوں کو بہتر بنانے پر توجہ مرکوز کرے گا جیسے عوامی سرمایہ کاری کی قیادت میں ترقی، جامع اور متوازن علاقائی ترقی، زراعت کے شعبے کی تبدیلی، بہتر مہارتوں کے ذریعے انسانی ترقی وغیرہ۔ ان شعبوں اور موضوعات کو رہنمائی کے طور پر استعمال کیا جائے گا۔ اگلے سال کے ADP کے اصول۔
مشترکہ دستاویزات سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ خصوصی پروگراموں کے لیے 154.5 بلین روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔ اس میں یونیورسل ہیلتھ انشورنس پروگرام کے لیے 125 بلین روپے، پائیدار ترقی کے پروگرام کے لیے 89.5 بلین روپے، سڑکوں کی بحالی کے پروگرام کے لیے 10 ارب روپے، اور آخر میں VGF کے لیے 5 ارب روپے اور مختلف ترقیاتی منصوبوں کے لیے زمین کا حصول شامل ہے۔
