Mansehra-Thakot section of Havelian-Thakot Motorway nearing completion

A project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Havelian-Thakot Motorway is one of the early harvest projects that is nearing its completion. The details suggest that more than 98% of the construction work of the Mansehra-Thakot section of Havelian-Thakot Motorway has been completed and it will soon be opened for the public.

Speaking to the media, one of the officials said that the authorities are completing the remaining work on priority and it will be completed on an urgent basis. Talking about if coronavirus had affected the CPEC, the official maintained that it is not the case at all and the two governments are working on the common goal collectively.
