(Kartarpur – September 2019)The inauguration date for KartarpurCorridor has been announced by the government of Pakistan that will allow the Sikh pilgrims coming from India a visa-free entry to the shine located in Kartarpur. Kartarpur Project Director Atif Majeed has confirmed that the border crossing corridor from India will be opened on November 9 just before the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak on November 12.
As per news sources, special permits will be issued to Indian Sikhs to access the shrine against a fee of USD 20. This corridor will make the visit much easier than before because the shrine is located just 4 km from the Indian border.
