ECC to discuss Karachi development projects today

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh has summoned the meeting of the ECC in which 5 agenda items related to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and 4 related to other ministries will be discussed, a news source reported.

As per the details, the five agenda items of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs include underground water tanks, construction of remaining road works and stormwater drains in the northwest industrial zone and southwest industrial zone at Port Qasim and construction of pump houses, construction of remaining water supply network in the northwest industrial zone and southwest industrial zone at Port Qasim, construction of remaining sewerage system in the northwest industrial zone and southwest industrial zone at Port Qasim, overhead water tanks and auxiliary work in eastern industrial zone at Port Qasim.

In this meeting, the ECC will also take up matters related to the provision of satellite services in Pakistan and a report of the committee constituted by the ECC on litigation between the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and LMKR.

The issue of supply of gas to localities within a five-kilometer radius of petroleum gas producing fields of the Petroleum Division is also on the agenda.

وزیر اعظم کے مشیر برائے خزانہ اور محصول ڈاکٹر عبد الحفیظ شیخ نے ای سی سی کا اجلاس طلب کرلیا ہے جس میں وزارت سمندری امور سے متعلق 5 نکات اور 4 دیگر وزارتوں سے متعلق بات چیت کی جائے گی۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق ، وزارت سمندری امور کے پانچ نکات میں زیر زمین پانی کے ٹینکوں کی تعمیر ، شمال مغربی صنعتی زون میں بقیہ سڑک کے کاموں اور طوفانی پانی کے نالوں کی تعمیر اور پورٹ قاسم میں جنوب مغربی صنعتی زون اور پمپ ہاؤسز کی تعمیر ، باقی پانی کی تعمیر شامل ہیں۔ شمال مغربی صنعتی زون اور پورٹ قاسم میں جنوب مغرب صنعتی زون میں سپلائی نیٹ ورک ، پورٹ قاسم میں شمال مغربی صنعتی زون اور جنوب مغربی صنعتی زون میں باقی سیوریج نظام کی تعمیر ، پورٹ قاسم کے مشرقی صنعتی زون میں اوورہیڈ پانی کے ٹینک اور معاون کام۔

اس اجلاس میں ، ای سی سی پاکستان میں سیٹلائٹ خدمات کی فراہمی سے متعلق امور اور وزارت انفارمیشن ٹکنالوجی اور ٹیلی مواصلات اور ایل ایم کے آر کے مابین قانونی چارہ جوئی کے بارے میں ای سی سی کی تشکیل کردہ کمیٹی کی ایک رپورٹ بھی اٹھائے گی۔

پٹرولیم ڈویژن کے پٹرولیم گیس پیدا کرنے والے شعبوں کے پانچ کلو میٹر کے دائرے میں علاقوں کو گیس کی فراہمی کا معاملہ بھی ایجنڈے میں شامل ہے۔
