District Development Committee Approved Local Government Schemes

Sargodha: According to news sources, the District Development Committee has recently approved three local government (LG) schemes for Sargodha under the Annual Development Programme (ADP). These schemes would cost PKR 39.9 million.

The committee has also extended the completion time of as much as 74 Public Health Engineering projects by one year and they are expected to complete by next year. During the ongoing fiscal year, DDC had approved funds amounting to PKR 25 million for these projects. These funds will be spent on:

• Installation of filtration plant for the public at Sargodha’s Commissioner Office
• Construction of public park in Chak 47 NB
• Construction of Silanwali Assistant Commissioner’s residence & office
• Renovation & construction of a public-waiting area & toilets at the Commissioner’s Office

Other than that, more development work is also in progress and would be completed soon.
