Construction work of second CPEC SEZ initiates in Faisalabad

15 applicants for investment purpose in this project, has been approved in the meeting conducted upon it. This includes a Chinese firm known as Zhengbang Agriculture Pakistan Private Limited which is planning to invest Rs 800 million in the agriculture sector of Pakistan.

The construction work of this zone has been initiated with the admission of a firm known as Suraya Aslam Paper Private Limited for the establishment of a project that is worth Rs 100 million. Mr. Atif R. Bokhari, Minister of State and Chairman Board of Investment have appreciated the development work. 

He said that the automation process of SEZs is now bearing fruits as per the dream of Prime Minister, Imran Khan.

After the successful launch of China Pakistan Economic Corridor`s first Rashakai SEZ, the construction work of the second CPEC SEZ Allama Iqbal Industrial City (AIIC) Faisalabad has initiated.

To have the details and further discussions over AIIC SEZ Committee, a meeting was held in which approval was given to 15 applicants and the land allotted to them was 320 acres. Amongst 14 local firms, Ocean Ceramics, Zahid Jee Textile Mills, as well as Ittihad Metals will be business setups worth Rs 11.8 billion, Rs 11.2 billion, and Rs 7.5 billion. 

On the other hand, the Vehari SEZ Committee approved its 1st zone enterprises, in a meeting conducted. The construction work over this zone has been initiated with the admission of a firm known as Suraya Aslam Paper Private Limited to start with the project that is worth Rs 100 million.

The SEZ Committee of Rahimyar Khan has allotted land and also approved zoning entry to Naseem Export Private Limited with an investment plan of Rs 4.5 billion. These projects also possess benefits which include exemption of taxation, and customs duties too.

اس منصوبے میں سرمایہ کاری کے مقصد کے لئے 15 درخواست دہندگان کو ، اس پر منعقدہ میٹنگ میں منظور کیا گیا ہے۔ اس میں ایک چینی فرم شامل ہے جو زینگبنگ ایگریکلچر پاکستان پرائیویٹ لمیٹڈ کے نام سے مشہور ہے جو پاکستان کے زراعت کے شعبے میں 800 ملین روپے کی سرمایہ کاری کرنے کا منصوبہ بنا رہی ہے۔

اس زون کی تعمیر کا کام 100 کروڑ روپے مالیت کے پروجیکٹ کے قیام کے لئے ایک فرم سوریا اسلم پیپر پرائیویٹ لمیٹڈ کے داخلے کے ساتھ شروع کیا گیا ہے۔ مسٹر عاطف آر بخاری ، وزیر مملکت اور چیئرمین بورڈ آف انویسٹمنٹ نے ترقیاتی کاموں کو سراہا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے خواب کے مطابق اب سیکز کی خود کاری کا عمل پھل پھیل رہا ہے۔

چائنا پاکستان اکنامک کوریڈور کے پہلے راشاکئی ایس زیڈ کے کامیاب آغاز کے بعد ، دوسرے سی پی ای سی ایس ای زیڈ علامہ اقبال انڈسٹریل سٹی (اے آئی آئی سی) فیصل آباد کی تعمیر کا کام شروع کردیا گیا ہے۔

ایک میٹنگ ہوئی جس میں 15 درخواست دہندگان کو منظوری دی گئی اور انہیں 320 ایکڑ اراضی الاٹ کی گئی۔ 14 مقامی فرموں میں اوشین سیرامکس ، زاہد جی ٹیکسٹائل ملز کے علاوہ اتحاد میٹلز 11.8 ارب ، 11.2 ارب روپے ، اور 7.5 ارب روپے کے کاروباری سیٹ اپ ہوں گے۔

دوسری طرف ، وہاڑی ایس ای زیڈ کمیٹی نے منعقدہ ایک میٹنگ میں اپنے پہلے زون کاروباری اداروں کو منظوری دی۔ اس زون پر تعمیراتی کام 100 کروڑ روپے کی لاگت سے شروع ہونے والے اس پروجیکٹ کے ساتھ شروع کرنے کے لئے سوریا اسلم پیپر پرائیویٹ لمیٹڈ کے نام سے قائم ایک فرم کے داخلے کے ساتھ شروع کیا گیا ہے۔

رحیم یار خان کی ایس ای زیڈ کمیٹی نے اراضی الاٹ کردی ہے اور نسیم ایکسپورٹ پرائیویٹ لمیٹڈ میں ساڑھے چار ارب روپے کی سرمایہ کاری کے منصوبے کے ساتھ زوننگ کے داخلے کی بھی منظوری دی ہے۔ ان منصوبوں کے فوائد بھی ہیں جن میں ٹیکس کی چھوٹ ، اور کسٹم ڈیوٹی بھی شامل ہیں۔
