CM reviews progress on Lahore Central Business District Development project

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar presided over a meeting of the Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA) to review the progress on the Lahore Central Business District (LCBD) project.

Chief Executive Officer of the Authority Imran Amin briefed the meeting about the progress made so far on the project. Talking on the occasion, the chief minister said it was a flagship project of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government, and it was being established on a prime location of the provincial metropolis.

He said that the project would be executed over 125 acres of land and would promote business activities, adding that the eight-acre land of the project was sold at a record price of Rs22 billion which was 165 percent higher than the reserve price.

OPC: The new Vice-Chairman of Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab Makhdoom Tariq Mahmood-ul-Hassan called on the chief minister at his office.

The CM expressed good wishes and directed to resolve the issues of the expatriate Pakistanis on a priority basis. The Pakistanis living aboard are a national asset and their services in national development cannot be ignored, he continued.

The government has devised a composite policy to resolve the problems of the expatriate Pakistanis and protection of their rights and properties will be fully ensured, the CM stressed. The principal secretary to CM was also present.

لاہور: وزیراعلیٰ نے لاہور سنٹرل بزنس ڈسٹرکٹ ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے اجلاس کی صدارت کی جس میں ایل سی بی ڈی منصوبوں پر پیش رفت کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔

وزیراعلیٰ سردار عثمان بزدار نے لاہور سینٹرل بزنس ڈسٹرکٹ ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (ایل سی بی ڈی ڈی اے) کے اجلاس کی صدارت کی جس میں لاہور سینٹرل بزنس ڈسٹرکٹ (ایل سی بی ڈی) منصوبے پر پیش رفت کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔

اتھارٹی کے چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر عمران امین نے اجلاس کو منصوبے پر اب تک ہونے والی پیش رفت سے آگاہ کیا۔ اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیراعلیٰ نے کہا کہ یہ پاکستان تحریک انصاف کی حکومت کا ایک اہم منصوبہ ہے اور یہ صوبائی میٹروپولیس کے ایک اہم مقام پر قائم کیا جا رہا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ منصوبہ 125 ایکڑ اراضی پر عمل میں لایا جائے گا اور کاروباری سرگرمیوں کو فروغ دیا جائے گا ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ منصوبے کی آٹھ ایکڑ اراضی 22 ارب روپے کی ریکارڈ قیمت پر فروخت کی گئی جو ریزرو قیمت سے 165 فیصد زیادہ ہے۔

او پی سی: اوورسیز پاکستانیز کمیشن پنجاب کے نئے وائس چیئرمین مخدوم طارق محمود الحسن نے وزیراعلیٰ سے ان کے دفتر میں ملاقات کی۔

وزیراعلیٰ نے نیک خواہشات کا اظہار کیا اور بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کے مسائل کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جہاز میں رہنے والے پاکستانی ایک قومی اثاثہ ہیں اور قومی ترقی میں ان کی خدمات کو نظر انداز نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔

وزیراعلیٰ نے زور دیا کہ حکومت نے بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کے مسائل کے حل کے لیے ایک جامع پالیسی وضع کی ہے اور ان کے حقوق اور املاک کا تحفظ مکمل طور پر یقینی بنایا جائے گا۔ وزیراعلیٰ کے پرنسپل سیکرٹری بھی موجود تھے۔
