CM promises to uplift projects for Upper Dir

According to the news sources, He expressed these views while talking to a jirga of Paindakhel and Sultankhel tribes of the district which called on him here, said a handout. Member National Assembly from Upper Dir Sibghatullah was also present on the occasion. The jirga elders informed the chief minister about the public issues and discussed various matters related to the overall development of the district.

According to the details, CM Mahmood Khan said that since the schedule for the second phase of local government elections in the district had been issued, he could not announce any new development scheme for the district.

He further added that as the local government elections were over, he along with the prime minister would visit the district to address a public gathering there.

While talking to the general public Mahmood Khan further added that his government was aware of the issues faced by the individuals of Upper Dir and going all out to have them resolute one by one.

According to the news sources, the chief minister apprised the delegates that expression of interest for the construction of the first phase of Dir Motorway Project had been floated and work on the same would be started soon, adding the project would be extended to Upper Dir and Chitral in the next phases.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق ان خیالات کا اظہار انہوں نے ضلع پائندہ خیل اور سلطان خیل قبائل کے جرگے سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا جس نے ان سے یہاں ملاقات کی۔ اس موقع پر اپر دیر سے رکن قومی اسمبلی صبغت اللہ بھی موجود تھے۔ جرگہ عمائدین نے وزیراعلیٰ کو عوامی مسائل سے آگاہ کیا اور ضلع کی مجموعی ترقی سے متعلق مختلف امور پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق وزیراعلیٰ محمود خان نے کہا کہ چونکہ ضلع میں بلدیاتی انتخابات کے دوسرے مرحلے کا شیڈول جاری ہو چکا ہے اس لیے وہ ضلع کے لیے کسی نئی ترقیاتی سکیم کا اعلان نہیں کر سکتے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ جیسے ہی بلدیاتی انتخابات ختم ہوں گے، وہ وزیر اعظم کے ہمراہ وہاں عوامی اجتماع سے خطاب کے لیے ضلع کا دورہ کریں گے۔
عوام الناس سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے محمود خان نے مزید کہا کہ ان کی حکومت اپر دیر کے لوگوں کو درپیش مسائل سے بخوبی آگاہ ہے اور انہیں ایک ایک کر کے حل کرنے کے لیے ہر ممکن کوشش کر رہی ہے۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق وزیر اعلیٰ نے وفود کو بتایا کہ دیر موٹر وے پراجیکٹ کے پہلے فیز کی تعمیر کے لیے اظہار دلچسپی شروع کر دیا گیا ہے اور اس پر جلد کام شروع کر دیا جائے گا، اس منصوبے کو دیر بالا تک توسیع دی جائے گی۔
