CDA has sealed 13 more commercial buildings in Islamabad located in different housing societies and sectors of the city for violations of the Building and Zoning Regulations 2005.
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA), in the ongoing operation against violators of Building and Zoning Regulations 2005, has sealed 13 more commercial buildings situated in the different housing societies in Zone II, V, and other sectors of the city.
The operation was conducted by the Building Control Directorate – II with the assistance of the Islamabad Capital Administration (ICT), Enforcement Directorate of the Authority, Islamabad Police, and other concerned departments. During this action, the teams sealed 13 premises in Bahria Town Phase IV including the buildings constructed on plot no. 130 Civic Center Block.
After removing the encroachments, the area was handed over to the Environment Staff for tree plantation and with directions to ensure strict vigilance so that encroachments could not be cropped up again.
