Islamabad: Ataturk Avenue is all set to open for traffic from next week, reports a news source. The dual-track road spanning from Khayaban-e-Suharwardy to National Database and Registration Authority Chowk is nearing its completion.
As per the city officials, the avenue is being made ready for the public and the respective departments have been directed to complete the carpeting and black-topping of the road. On the other hand, the CDA officials have said that the drain work and other related work has been completed. For other remaining work in the area, they are optimistic that it would be completed soon.
