200 New Bus Stops to be Established in Lahore

After repairing the dilapidated bus stops at a cost of Rs. 77 million, it was decided to build 200 new bus stops in the city.

Recommendations for the allocation of funds have been made. The Transport Department has sent recommendations to the government for allocating funds by incorporating the scheme in the new financial year.

The Cabinet Committee on Finance had approved a supplementary grant of Rs 77 million for the repair, and maintenance of dilapidated bus stops in the current financial year as well.

On the other hand, Lahore Transport Company has found a new way to generate revenue. The company will build its 8-story office on three Kanals, and 16 marlas in Green Town. Several sections will be created including facilitation centers.

The project will be implemented in the new financial year. The company will have its own office at a cost of Rs. 428 million.

The new office building will have two basements, and eight floors. While other floors will be given on rent, separate route permit, challan, IT, monitoring, planning, admin, enforcement section, complaint cell will also be provided in the new office.

فنڈز مختص کرنے کی سفارشات کی گئیں۔ محکمہ ٹرانسپورٹ نے نئے مالی سال میں اس اسکیم کو شامل کرکے فنڈز مختص کرنے کے لئے حکومت کو سفارشات ارسال کیں۔

کابینہ کمیٹی برائے خزانہ نے رواں مالی سال کے دوران خستہ حال بس اسٹاپوں کی مرمت اور بحالی کے لئے 77 ملین روپے کے ضمنی گرانٹ کی منظوری دی تھی۔

دوسری جانب ، لاہور ٹرانسپورٹ کمپنی نے محصول وصول کرنے کا ایک نیا راستہ تلاش کرلیا ہے۔ یہ کمپنی 3 کنال پر اپنا 8 منزلہ آفس اور گرین ٹاؤن میں 16 مرلہ تعمیر کرے گی۔ سہولت مراکز سمیت متعدد حصے بنائے جائیں گے۔

اس منصوبے کو نئے مالی سال میں نافذ کیا جائے گا۔ کمپنی کا اپنا آفس 428 ملین روپے کی لاگت سے ہوگا۔

نئی آفس عمارت میں دو تہہ خانے اور آٹھ منزلیں ہوں گی۔ جبکہ باقی منزلیں کرایہ پر دیئی جائیں گی ، علیحدہ روٹ پرمٹ ، چالان ، آئی ٹی ، مانیٹرنگ ، پلاننگ ، ایڈمن ، انفورسمنٹ سیکشن ، کمپلین سیل بھی نئے آفس میں مہیا کیے جائیں گے۔
