Work on Mega projects of Lahore starts

On the direction of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, work has been started on mega projects in the City, including Gulab Devi Hospital underpass, Shahkam Chowk overhead bridge, and Sheranwala Gate overhead bridge.

In this regard, the chief minister said an overhead bridge would be constructed from the railway station to Sheranwala Gate to ease the daily movement of people in the North, and South parts of Lahore.

An underpass will be built near Gulab Devi Hospital on Ferozepur Road, he added. Similarly, the Shahkam Chowk overhead bridge will resolve daily traffic issues.

Meanwhile, a 1,000-bed general hospital will be built in an area of 124-kanal near Arfa Karim Technology Park, he said. The chief minister directed the LDA DG for early completion of the projects, adding that an innovative plan be presented for solving the traffic problem at Cavalry Chowk.

Similarly, steps be taken for the signal-free corridor from Multan Road to Ferozepur Road, he said and directed that remodeling of Shahdara Chowk be finalized soon.

Meanwhile, work on the Karim Block, Iqbal Town overhead bridge/underpass project be started at the earliest, he said. The PTI government was working hard to provide better facilities to the citizens of the provincial metropolis, he added.

Meanwhile, the chief minister said there was no pressure on officers in the performance of their duties, and the independence available to officers was unprecedented.

دریں اثنا ، ارفع کریم ٹکنالوجی پارک کے قریب 124 کنال کے علاقے میں ایک ہزار بستروں پر مشتمل جنرل ہسپتال تعمیر کیا جائے گا۔ وزیراعلیٰ نے ایل ڈی اے ڈی جی کو منصوبوں کی جلد تکمیل کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ کیولری چوک پر ٹریفک کے مسئلے کو حل کرنے کے لئے ایک جدید منصوبہ پیش کیا جائے۔

اسی طرح ملتان روڈ سے فیروز پور روڈ تک سگنل فری راہداری کے لئے اقدامات اٹھائے جائیں گے ، انہوں نے ہدایت کی کہ شاہدرہ چوک کو دوبارہ تشکیل دینے کو جلد حتمی شکل دی جائے۔

دریں اثناء ، کریم بلاک ، اقبال ٹاؤن اوورہیڈ برج / انڈر پاس منصوبے کا کام جلد سے شروع کیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پی ٹی آئی حکومت صوبائی میٹروپولیس کے شہریوں کو بہتر سہولیات کی فراہمی کے لئے کوشاں ہے۔
