Urban Forest being created at Liberty Market

Lahore: In the recent development of events, LDA in collaboration with a private company is creating a Miyawaki-style Urban Forest in the heart of Lahore i.e. Liberty Market with 6000+ trees.

According to the news sources, 6000+ native trees will be planted to create a dense forest that will provide the people with clean breathable air. The project was signed earlier this year under the Clean Green Punjab initiative to curb the environmental pollution and smog issues in Lahore.

It should be mentioned here that Lahore tops the list of cities with the worst air quality and forests are the need of the hour to ensure a good atmosphere for the residents.
