Transport department planning to build sheds at bus stops

As per one of the senior officials of the transport department, the department has required funds to start with the building process of sheds at all bus stops of Lahore. 

While the department has given its approval for the construction of sheds at bus stops and now this case has been referred to the cabinet committee to gain their approval. The funds for this purpose will be released as soon as the Cabinet Committee on finance approves it. 

To improve the conditions of bus terminals all around Punjab, the decision has been taken to set up a Punjab Terminal Management Company. This company will look after more than 400 bus terminals in the province, Punjab. 

As per the officials of the transport department, Punjab Terminal Management Company will be formulated to take good care of about 400 terminals of Punjab which will include Jinnah Terminal, Lorri Ada Badamibagh Terminal, and City Terminal of Lahore.

Punjab Terminal Management Company will take relevant initiatives with the purpose of improving the condition of the bus stands and terminals.

The Punjab Terminal Management Company will facilitate improvements in canteens, waiting rooms, will provide clean drinking water, and facilitate further with every little to the major need of travelers such as washrooms.

محکمہ ٹرانسپورٹ کے سینئر عہدیداروں میں سے ایک کے مطابق ، محکمہ کو لاہور کے تمام بس اسٹاپوں پر شیڈ بنانے کے عمل کے ساتھ شروع ہونے کے لئے فنڈز درکار ہیں۔

جبکہ محکمہ نے بس اسٹاپوں پر شیڈ بنانے کی منظوری دے دی ہے اور اب ان کی منظوری حاصل کرنے کے لئے یہ معاملہ کابینہ کمیٹی کے پاس بھیجا گیا ہے۔ فنانس سے متعلق کابینہ کی کمیٹی کی منظوری کے ساتھ ہی اس مقصد کے لئے فنڈز جاری کردیئے جائیں گے۔

پورے پنجاب میں بس ٹرمینلز کی صورتحال کو بہتر بنانے کے لئے ، پنجاب ٹرمینل مینجمنٹ کمپنی کے قیام کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔ یہ کمپنی صوبہ ، پنجاب میں 400 سے زیادہ بس ٹرمینلز کی دیکھ بھال کرے گی۔

محکمہ ٹرانسپورٹ کے عہدیداروں کے مطابق ، پنجاب ٹرمینل مینجمنٹ کمپنی کو پنجاب کے لگ بھگ 400 ٹرمینلز کی دیکھ بھال کرنے کے لئے وضع کیا جائے گا جس میں جناح ٹرمینل ، لوری اڈا بادامیباغ ٹرمینل ، اور لاہور کا سٹی ٹرمینل شامل ہوں گے۔

پنجاب ٹرمینل مینجمنٹ کمپنی بس اسٹینڈز اور ٹرمینلز کی حالت بہتر بنانے کے مقصد سے متعلقہ اقدامات کرے گی۔
