Stamp Paper Discontinued: Property Registry to be made on Plain Paper

According to Member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar, the property registry will be on plain paper, the registry written on the white paper will be coded three times, the decision will be implemented across Punjab this year.

Babar Hayat Tarar said that the elimination of stamp papers would save the government more than one billion rupees.

He said that an order has been issued to shift all the PatwarKhanas to government buildings and other defaulters including agricultural income tax and Abiana would be arrested.

Non-payers can be imprisoned for up to 15 days by making referrals in each tehsil.

Member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar said that the recovery system in Punjab has improved a lot and they are making it more active.

پنجاب حکومت نے اسٹامپ پیپرز ختم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے اب جائیدادوں کی رجسٹری سادہ کاغذ پر ہوگی۔

ممبر بورڈ آف ریونیو بابرحیات تارڑ کے مطابق جائیدادوں کی رجسٹری سادہ کاغذ پر ہوگی،سفید کاغذ پر لکھی رجسٹری پر تین بار کوڈ لگائے جائیں گے، فیصلے پر اس سال پنجاب بھر میں عمل درآمد شروع ہوگا۔

بابر حیات تارڑ نے کہاکہ اسٹامپ پیپرز ختم ہونے سے حکومت کو ایک ارب روپے سے زائد کی بچت ہوگی، رجسٹری درج کرنے والا آفیسر اس کا ٹرانسفر بھی درج کرے گا۔

انہوں نے کہاکہ تمام پٹوار خانے سرکاری عمارتوں میں منتقل کرنے کا حکم جاری کردیا ہے، زرعی انکم ٹیکس اور آبیانہ سمیت دیگر نادہندگان کو گرفتار کیا جائے گا۔

ہر تحصیل میں حوالات بنا کر نا دہندہ کو15 روز تک قید رکھا جاسکے گا،
