Renovation of Gwadar football stadium complete

According to the news sources, the director-general of the Gwadar Development Authority, Mujeebur Rehman Qam­brani, said that Mir Ghous Bakhsh Bizenjo Football Stadium had been renovated and would soon be inaugurated by Balochistan’s Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo.

According to the details, the old football stadium, spread over 138,000 square feet, was in a decrepit condition and void of greenery, Mr. Qambrani said, adding that players used to play there in the dust. The stadium had now been planted with greenery and illuminated by floodlights.

According to the news sources, A new pavilion for spectators, a separate seating area for guests, rooms for players, and offices have also been set up besides underground water tanks, walking tracks, and washrooms for spectators. The parking area and other places have also been improved.

While talking to the media Mr. Qambrani said “As football is quite popular in Gwadar, sports fans have expressed happiness over the stadium’s renovation,”

“We were also improving other stadiums so that the youth of the city could continue their healthy activities in a better environment.” He further added that the Gwadar residents praised the provincial government’s efforts to promote sports and improve the football stadium’s condition.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق گوادر ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل مجیب الرحمان قمبرانی نے کہا کہ میر غوث بخش بزنجو فٹبال اسٹیڈیم کی تزئین و آرائش کر دی گئی ہے اور جلد ہی اس کا افتتاح وزیراعلیٰ بلوچستان میر عبدالقدوس بزنجو کریں گے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق 138,000 مربع فٹ پر پھیلا پرانا فٹبال اسٹیڈیم خستہ حال اور ہریالی سے خالی تھا، مسٹر قمبرانی نے کہا کہ کھلاڑی وہاں دھول میں کھیلا کرتے تھے۔ اسٹیڈیم کو اب ہریالی اور فلڈ لائٹس سے روشن کر دیا گیا تھا۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق تماشائیوں کے لیے نیا پویلین، مہمانوں کے لیے الگ بیٹھنے کی جگہ، کھلاڑیوں کے لیے کمرے اور دفاتر کے علاوہ زیر زمین پانی کی ٹینک، واکنگ ٹریک اور تماشائیوں کے لیے واش رومز بھی بنائے گئے ہیں۔ پارکنگ ایریا اور دیگر مقامات کو بھی بہتر کیا گیا ہے۔
میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے مسٹر قمبرانی نے کہا کہ گوادر میں فٹ بال کافی مقبول ہے اس لیے کھیلوں کے شائقین نے اسٹیڈیم کی تزئین و آرائش پر خوشی کا اظہار کیا ہے۔
"ہم دوسرے سٹیڈیمز کو بھی بہتر کر رہے تھے تاکہ شہر کے نوجوان بہتر ماحول میں اپنی صحت مند سرگرمیاں جاری رکھ سکیں۔" انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ گوادر کے رہائشیوں نے کھیلوں کے فروغ اور فٹ بال سٹیڈیم کی حالت بہتر بنانے کے لیے صوبائی حکومت کی کوششوں کو سراہا۔
