Registration of 14 cooperative housing societies canceled by the Registrar Cooperative Societies Islamabad

The societies canceled include the WAPDA Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Veterans Cooperative, OGDC Officers Cooperative, Foreign Office Cooperative, Work No Ward Cooperative, and Ministry of Commerce Cooperative Housing Society.

Similarly, the registration of Pakistan Employees Cooperative, PAEC Employees Cooperative, PWD Employees Cooperative, National Police Foundation Cooperative, OGCD Employees Cooperative, Federal Shariat Court Employees Cooperative, Pakistan Professional Cooperative and Engineers Cooperative Housing Society, was also cancelled.

The issued order for the cancellation were sent by the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon. He is also the Registrar at the Cooperative Societies, Islamabad. An official from the ICT Registrar office revealed that the 14 societies originally fell in the limit of Punjab, therefore they were registered to the ICT registrar office.

اسی طرح پاکستان ایمپلائز کوآپریٹو، پی اے ای سی ایمپلائز کوآپریٹو، پی ڈبلیو ڈی ایمپلائز کوآپریٹو، نیشنل پولیس فاؤنڈیشن کوآپریٹو، او جی سی ڈی ایمپلائز کوآپریٹو، فیڈرل شریعت کورٹ ایمپلائز کوآپریٹو، پاکستان پروفیشنل کوآپریٹو اور انجینئرز کوآپریٹو ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی کی رجسٹریشن بھی منسوخ کردی گئی۔
منسوخی کے جاری کردہ احکامات ڈپٹی کمشنر اسلام آباد عرفان نواز میمن نے ارسال کیے ہیں۔ وہ کوآپریٹو سوسائٹیز، اسلام آباد میں رجسٹرار بھی ہیں۔ آئی سی ٹی رجسٹرار آفس کے ایک اہلکار نے انکشاف کیا کہ 14 سوسائٹیز اصل میں پنجاب کی حدود میں آتی ہیں، اس لیے انہیں آئی سی ٹی رجسٹرار آفس میں رجسٹر کر دیا گیا۔
