Pakistan Railways launches e-procurement system

According to the news sources, Railways Minister Azam Khan Swati on Tuesday announces that,

Pakistan Railways has launched an e-Procurement System to make the process more transparent, efficient, and easy as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan for good governance and digital Pakistan.

While addressing the MoU signing ceremony between PR and Tejari, the railway minister said the government was concentrating on accountability, transparency, and providing relief to the people and has made important progress towards e-governance in this regard.

He further added that billions of rupees were invested in different projects and routine purchases and this inventiveness will further improve the administrative and financial affairs of the Pakistan Railways. “The MoU with Tejari would help ensure transparency in awarding of contracts as well. Minister said,

Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani Secretary Pakistan Railways said that the department has developed a roadmap that would not only make the procurement process transparent but also help in saving time.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق منگل کو وزیر ریلوے اعظم خان سواتی نے اعلان کیا کہ
پاکستان ریلویز نے گڈ گورننس اور ڈیجیٹل پاکستان کے وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے وژن کے مطابق عمل کو مزید شفاف، موثر اور آسان بنانے کے لیے ای پروکیورمنٹ سسٹم کا آغاز کیا ہے۔
پی آر اور تیجاری کے درمیان مفاہمت نامے پر دستخط کی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے، ریلوے کے وزیر نے کہا کہ حکومت جوابدہی، شفافیت اور لوگوں کو ریلیف فراہم کرنے پر توجہ دے رہی ہے اور اس سلسلے میں ای گورننس کی جانب اہم پیش رفت ہوئی ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ مختلف منصوبوں اور معمول کی خریداری میں اربوں روپے کی سرمایہ کاری کی گئی اور اس ایجاد سے پاکستان ریلوے کے انتظامی اور مالیاتی امور میں مزید بہتری آئے گی۔ "تیجاری کے ساتھ مفاہمت نامے سے معاہدوں کو دینے میں بھی شفافیت کو یقینی بنانے میں مدد ملے گی۔ وزیر نے کہا
حبیب الرحمان گیلانی سیکرٹری پاکستان ریلویز نے کہا کہ محکمہ نے ایک روڈ میپ تیار کیا ہے جس سے نہ صرف خریداری کے عمل کو شفاف بنایا جائے گا بلکہ وقت کی بچت میں بھی مدد ملے گی۔
