KP Government includes mega projects worth Rs.14 billion in ADP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Science Technology and Information Technology (ST&IT) and Food Muhammad Atif Khan has said that provincial government has included mega projects worth Rs14 billion in the Annual Development Programme (ADP) in order to boost digital economy, transparency, and improved service delivery to citizens.

In a statement, he said the provincial government was taking interest to materialize the dream of Digital Pakistan to accelerate economic development, social progress, and acquaint the youth with emerging digital technology skills.

Atif Khan stated that Citizen Facilitation Centres (CFC) costing Rs2.70 billion would be established in all districts including newly merged districts so as to facilitate the public in getting easy access to basic services such as domicile, birth/death/marriage/divorce certificates, arms, driving licenses, and vehicle registrations.

“Establishment of Digital Economy & Skill Centre at the cost of Rs742 million at Shankar, Mardan for enhancing and equipping youth with specialised and latest IT skills, is also included in the mega projects,” said the minister.

He further said that Special Technology Zones spanning over 2,000 Kanals in Mardan, for setting up special technology industries, would also be established.

Atif khan stated that Digital City Haripur worth Rs1.3 billion would be established soon, adding that the project would boost the digital economy, and generate employment opportunities for youths.

خیبر پختونخوا کے وزیر برائے سائنس ٹکنالوجی اور انفارمیشن ٹکنالوجی (ایس ٹی اینڈ آئی ٹی) اور فوڈ محمد عاطف خان نے کہا ہے کہ صوبائی حکومت نے ڈیجیٹل معیشت ، شفافیت اور خدمات کی بہتر فراہمی کو فروغ دینے کے لئے سالانہ ترقیاتی پروگرام (اے ڈی پی) میں 14 ارب روپے کے میگا پروجیکٹس کو شامل کیا ہے۔

ایک بیان میں ، انہوں نے کہا کہ صوبائی حکومت معاشی ترقی ، سماجی ترقی کو تیز کرنے اور نوجوانوں کو ابھرتی ہوئی ڈیجیٹل ٹیکنالوجی کی مہارتوں سے آگاہ کرنے کے لئے ڈیجیٹل پاکستان کے خواب کو عملی جامہ پہنانے میں دلچسپی لے رہی ہے۔

عاطف خان نے بتایا کہ نئے ضم شدہ اضلاع سمیت تمام اضلاع میں 2،70 بلین روپے کی لاگت سے شہری سہولت مراکز (سی ایف سی) قائم کیے جائیں گے تاکہ عوام کو ڈومیسائل ، پیدائش / موت / شادی / طلاق نامہ جیسی بنیادی خدمات تک آسان رسائی حاصل ہوسکے۔ ، اسلحہ ، ڈرائیونگ لائسنس ، اور گاڑیوں کے اندراجات۔
وزیر نے کہا ، "شنکر ، مردان میں 742 ملین روپے کی لاگت سے ڈیجیٹل اکانومی اور اسکل سنٹر کا قیام بھی نوجوانوں کو خصوصی اور جدید ترین مہارت سے آراستہ کرنے کے لئے ، میگا پروجیکٹس میں شامل ہے۔"

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ مردان میں خصوصی ٹکنالوجی کی صنعتوں کے قیام کے لئے 2،000 کنال پر پھیلے اسپیشل ٹکنالوجی زون بھی قائم کیے جائیں گے۔

عاطف خان نے بتایا کہ ڈیجیٹل سٹی ہری پور میں جلد ایک ارب تین کروڑ روپئے کا قیام عمل میں لایا جائے گا-
