'Kamyab Jawan' becomes largest employment generation scheme: SAPM

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar said there has been a massive increase in economic activity in the country due to the Kamyab Jawan Programme (KJP), creating more than 50,000 employment opportunities in different sectors.

In a news statement, he expressed satisfaction over the latest data of the Prime Minister's Kamyab Jawan Programme. The number of KJP's beneficiaries surged manifold, he noted.

The present government rolled out the flagship KJP a couple of years ago under which different pro-youth schemes including Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) and Skill for All and others were launched to provide gainful employment and meaningful engagement to the young people constituting around 60 percent of the country's population.

Usman Dar said the government was extending financial and technical assistance to the youth for imparting trainings in high-tech trades and opening their own businesses in different sectors.

He said the young people could get soft loans worth millions of rupees by submitting practical business plans under the YES. For a successful business, the youth needed workable business ideas instead of a huge amounts in loans, he added.

The SAPM said he was aware of the problems being faced by youth in getting concessionary loans under the YES. The partner banks of KJP have been asked to expedite the loan disbursement process, he added.

Meanwhile, Usman Dar tweeted the success story of Muhammad Asif who succeeded in opening a dairy farming business in Khanewal after getting a soft loan under the KJP.

Muhammad Asif, in a video message, extended gratitude to Prime Minister Imran Khan and KJP team for providing such opportunities to the youth.

وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے نوجوان امور محمد عثمان ڈار نے کہا کہ کامیاب جوان پروگرام (کے جے پی) کی وجہ سے ملک میں معاشی سرگرمیوں میں بڑے پیمانے پر اضافہ ہوا ہے جس سے مختلف شعبوں میں 50 ہزار سے زائد روزگار کے مواقع پیدا ہوئے ہیں۔

ایک اخباری بیان میں انہوں نے وزیر اعظم کامیاب جوان پروگرام کے تازہ ترین اعداد و شمار پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔ انہوں نے نوٹ کیا کہ کے جے پی کے فائدہ اٹھانے والوں کی تعداد کئی گنا بڑھ گئی۔

موجودہ حکومت نے چند سال قبل فلیگ شپ کے جے پی کو متعارف کرایا تھا جس کے تحت نوجوانوں کی مختلف حامی اسکیمیں بشمول یوتھ انٹرپرینیورشپ سکیم (YES)
اور سکل فار آل اور دیگر نوجوانوں کو فائدہ مند روزگار اور معنی خیز مصروفیت فراہم کرنے کے لیے شروع کی گئی تھیں۔

عثمان ڈار نے کہا کہ حکومت نوجوانوں کو ہائی ٹیک تجارت میں تربیت دینے اور مختلف شعبوں میں اپنے کاروبار کھولنے کے لیے مالی اور تکنیکی مدد فراہم کر رہی ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ نوجوان YES کے تحت عملی کاروباری منصوبے پیش کر کے لاکھوں روپے مالیت کے نرم قرضے حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ایک کامیاب کاروبار کے لیے نوجوانوں کو قرضوں میں بھاری رقم کی بجائے قابل عمل کاروباری خیالات کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔

ایس اے پی ایم نے کہا کہ وہ نوجوانوں کو YES کے تحت رعایتی قرضے حاصل کرنے میں درپیش مسائل سے آگاہ ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ کے جے پی کے پارٹنر بینکوں سے کہا گیا ہے کہ وہ قرض کی تقسیم کے عمل کو تیز کریں۔

دریں اثنا ، عثمان ڈار نے محمد آصف کی کامیابی کی کہانی ٹویٹ کی جو کے جے پی کے تحت نرم قرض حاصل کرنے کے بعد خانیوال میں ڈیری فارمنگ کا کاروبار کھولنے میں کامیاب ہوا۔

محمد آصف نے ایک ویڈیو پیغام میں نوجوانوں کو ایسے مواقع فراہم کرنے پر وزیراعظم عمران خان اور کے جے پی ٹیم کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
