Lahore: Governor Punjab decides to take further steps to promote tourism in the province, and announced formulation of policy for historical religious places` renovation.
Governor Punjab says that a policy will also be formulated for the renovation of historical religious places.
According to details, the Punjab government has decided to formulate a policy for the renovation of historical and religious places for the promotion of tourism in the province. The Punjab Governor also issued instructions to the concerned department to formulate a policy.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that the provision of other facilities including hotels for tourists at historical places is the top priority. Promoting tourism in the country can generate 4 to 5 billion annually.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that there are holy places of all religions including the Christian community and Sikhs in Punjab while 1.2 million people visit the holy shrine of Mary to perform their religious duties.
He said that historical places in Punjab would be made more attractive for tourists. He said that the number of places for tourism in Pakistan was unprecedented, and work would be done for the promotion of tourism as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
لاہور: گورنر پنجاب نے صوبے میں سیاحت کے فروغ کے لئے مزید اقدامات کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا اور تاریخی مذہبی مقامات کی تزئین و آرائش کے لئے پالیسی مرتب کرنے کا اعلان کیا۔
گورنر پنجاب کا کہنا ہے کہ تاریخی مذہبی مقامات کی تزئین و آرائش کے لئے بھی ایک پالیسی بنائی جائے گی۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ، حکومت پنجاب نے صوبے میں سیاحت کے فروغ کے لئے تاریخی اور مذہبی مقامات کی تزئین و آرائش کے لئے پالیسی مرتب کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ گورنر پنجاب نے متعلقہ محکمہ کو بھی پالیسی تیار کرنے کی ہدایت جاری کردی۔
گورنر پنجاب چوہدری محمد سرور نے کہا ہے کہ تاریخی مقامات پر سیاحوں کے لئے ہوٹلوں سمیت دیگر سہولیات کی فراہمی اولین ترجیح ہے۔ ملک میں سیاحت کو فروغ دینے سے سالانہ 4 سے 5 ارب ڈالر کی پیداوار ہوسکتی ہے۔
پنجاب کے گورنر چوہدری محمد سرور نے کہا کہ پنجاب میں مسیحی برادری اور سکھوں سمیت تمام مذاہب کے مقدس مقامات ہیں جبکہ 12 لاکھ افراد اپنے مذہبی فرائض کی انجام دہی کے لئے مریم کے مقدس مزار پر جاتے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پنجاب میں تاریخی مقامات کو سیاحوں کیلئے زیادہ پرکشش بنایا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان میں سیاحت کے لئے مقامات کی تعداد بے مثال تھی ، وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے وژن کے مطابق سیاحت کے فروغ کے لئے کام کیا جائے گا۔
