Gwadar: Exports have been in motion for the first time in the Gwadar Free Zone, with the exemption of all taxes and customs duties for a period of 20 years, reported a news source.
Alongside exports to foreign countries the Gwadar Free Zone both south and north has also kick-started the supply of trade articles and manufacturing items in the local market. The steps taken align with the e-Custom system, which will help Pakistan utilize its untapped potential, helping it become an export-oriented country with its international competitors.
A fertilizer import and processing firm, Agvon which has been incorporated into the Gwadar North Free Zone said it would be selling 20,000 tons of potassium sulfate to Pakistani and International markets.
The production will be initiated next year, and to achieve this purpose, around 10 acres of land have been acquired, while the manufacturing setup is under construction.

بیرونی ممالک کو برآمدات کے ساتھ ساتھ گوادر فری زون نے جنوبی اور شمال دونوں طرف سے مقامی مارکیٹ میں تجارتی اشیاء اور مینوفیکچرنگ اشیاء کی سپلائی بھی شروع کر دی ہے۔ اٹھائے گئے اقدامات ای-کسٹم سسٹم کے ساتھ ہم آہنگ ہیں، جو پاکستان کو اپنی غیر استعمال شدہ صلاحیت کو بروئے کار لانے میں مدد دے گا، اور اسے اپنے بین الاقوامی حریفوں کے ساتھ برآمدات پر مبنی ملک بننے میں مدد ملے گی۔
فرٹیلائزر کی درآمد اور پروسیسنگ فرم، Agvon جسے گوادر نارتھ فری زون میں شامل کیا گیا ہے، نے کہا کہ وہ 20,000 ٹن پوٹاشیم سلفیٹ پاکستانی اور بین الاقوامی منڈیوں کو فروخت کرے گی۔
اس کی پیداوار اگلے سال شروع کی جائے گی اور اس مقصد کے حصول کے لیے تقریباً 10 ایکڑ اراضی حاصل کر لی گئی ہے جبکہ مینوفیکچرنگ سیٹ اپ زیر تعمیر ہے۔
