Excise department has mobilizes against the tax payers

A summary of 5% tax collection of government rate from the owners of vacant plots of more than 5 marlas has been sent to the government.

 According to the details, the excise department has mobilized against the taxpayers despite raising taxes on vacant plots and despite the plots, orders have been issued to collect new data from the society owners to increase the number of tax collections from 1.5 million to 500,000.

A summary of 5% tax collection of government rate from vacant plot owners was sent to the government. Earlier, it was being collected under the rating area formula.

According to Additional DG Rizwan Sherwani, with the implementation of government rates, the tax on plots is expected to increase from Rs 2,000 to Rs 20,000. After the final approval of the government, the tax will be collected under the new formula from the next financial year.

Only more than Rs 100 million is being collected from the owners of about 35,000 vacant plots in Lahore. All directors were fired.

تفصیلات کے مطابق محکمہ ایکسائز نے خالی پلاٹوں پر ٹیکس بڑھانے کے باوجود ٹیکس دہندگان کے خلاف متحرک کیا ہے اور پلاٹوں کے باوجود ٹیکس وصولیوں کی تعداد کو ڈیڑھ لاکھ سے بڑھا کر پانچ لاکھ کرنے کے لئے سوسائٹی مالکان سے نیا ڈیٹا اکٹھا کرنے کے احکامات جاری کردیئے گئے ہیں۔

خالی پلاٹ مالکان سے سرکاری شرح کے 5٪ ٹیکس وصولی کی سمری حکومت کو ارسال کردی گئی۔ اس سے پہلے ، یہ درجہ بندی کے علاقے فارمولے کے تحت جمع کیا جارہا تھا۔

ایڈیشنل ڈی جی رضوان شیروانی کے مطابق ، حکومتی نرخوں کے نفاذ کے ساتھ ہی پلاٹوں پر ٹیکس 2 ہزار سے بڑھ کر 20 ہزار روپے ہوجائے گا۔ حکومت کی حتمی منظوری کے بعد اگلے مالی سال سے نئے فارمولے کے تحت ٹیکس وصول کیا جائے گا۔

لاہور میں تقریبا 35 35،000 خالی پلاٹوں کے مالکان سے صرف 100 ملین روپے سے زیادہ وصول کیا جارہا ہے۔ تمام ڈائریکٹرز کو برطرف کردیا گیا۔
