E-governance System makes LDA public friendly

He was addressing a press conference regarding the performance of LDA at Johar Town sports Complex on Wednesday.

SACM Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, LDA Vice Chairman SM Imran, MPA Saadia Sohail Rana, WASA Vice Chairman Sheikh Imtiaz Mehmood, and other senior officers were also present.

Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed said that credit goes to the LDA team for an efficient, and swift implementation of public-friendly reforms.

He said that the e-governance system resulted not only in facilitation to the general public but also for the builders and developers.

He said that approval of building plans for residential or commercial projects, completion certificates after construction, NOC for change in land use, or permits for private housing societies besides other facilities are being provided within the stipulated time.

He said that in accordance with the vision of PM Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, all the directorates are being digitized in LDA to further facilitate the public.

LDA Vice Chairman SM Imran briefed the media about various steps taken by the management. He revealed that more than 586 illegal housing societies were established in the provincial capital in the past.

He added that LDA didn't approve those while National Accountability Bureau and other government agencies were initiating action against the owners of illegal societies.

وہ بدھ کے روز جوہر ٹاؤن اسپورٹس کمپلیکس میں ایل ڈی اے کی کارکردگی سے متعلق پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کر رہے تھے۔

ایس اے سی ایم ڈاکٹر فردوس عاشق اعوان ، ایل ڈی اے کے وائس چیئرمین ایس ایم عمران ، ایم پی اے سعدیہ سہیل رانا ، واسا کے وائس چیئرمین شیخ امتیاز محمود ، اور دیگر سینئر افسران بھی موجود تھے۔

میاں محمود الرشید نے کہا کہ عوام دوست دوستانہ اصلاحات پر ایک موثر اور تیزی سے عمل آوری کا قرضہ ایل ڈی اے ٹیم کو جاتا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ای گورننس سسٹم کے نتیجے میں نہ صرف عام لوگوں بلکہ بلڈروں اور ڈویلپروں کو بھی سہولت فراہم ہوئی۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ رہائشی یا تجارتی منصوبوں کے عمارتوں کے منصوبوں کی منظوری ، تعمیر کے بعد تکمیل کے سرٹیفکیٹ ، زمین کے استعمال میں تبدیلی کے لئے این او سی یا نجی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کے اجازت ناموں کے علاوہ دیگر سہولیات بھی مقررہ مدت میں فراہم کی جارہی ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم عمران خان اور وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب سردار عثمان بزدار کے وژن کے مطابق ، ایل ڈی اے میں تمام ڈائریکٹریٹ کو ڈیجیٹائز کیا جارہا ہے تاکہ عوام کو مزید سہولیات فراہم کی جاسکیں۔

ایل ڈی اے کے وائس چیئرمین ایس ایم عمران نے میڈیا کو انتظامیہ کے مختلف اقدامات کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے انکشاف کیا کہ ماضی میں صوبائی دارالحکومت میں 586 سے زیادہ غیرقانونی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی قائم کی گئیں۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ایل ڈی اے نے ان کی منظوری نہیں دی جبکہ قومی احتساب بیورو اور دیگر سرکاری ادارے غیر قانونی معاشروں کے مالکان کے خلاف کارروائی کا آغاز کررہے ہیں۔
