CM Punjab reviews annual development plan

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar appreciated the performance of the Planning and Development Board and other provincial departments regarding the efficient working while chairing the Annual Development Plan Review.

Buzdar while chairing the first quarter ADP review meeting applauded the timely intervention of the board which lead to the smooth execution of ADP 2021 as well as the good beginning made on ADP 2021-2022 in the light of given instructions by the chief minister himself.

In addition, acknowledgment letters are also being sent to the departments for their valuable services in implementing ADP of CFY 2021-22.

He emphasized that no leniency will be shown to provincial departments for less utilization of funds. In addition, the acknowledgment letters have been sent to higher-achieving departments for their effort in implementing the ADP of the current financial year.

The fund is our responsibility and it should be utilized in its true essence, he said. He also said that there are challenges but the commitment of the government is strong.

He highlighted that the incumbent government, according to the set objectives, has introduced positive changes in every sector of life, and the budget made this year was inclusive with regards to enhancing every field. He also acknowledged the proper utilization of funds of the previous year.

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب سردار عثمان بزدار نے سالانہ ترقیاتی منصوبے کے جائزے کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے موثر کام کرنے کے حوالے سے پلاننگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ بورڈ اور دیگر صوبائی محکموں کی کارکردگی کو سراہا۔

بزدار نے پہلی سہ ماہی ADP جائزہ میٹنگ کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے بورڈ کی بروقت مداخلت کو سراہا جو کہ ADP 2021 کے ہموار عملدرآمد کے ساتھ ساتھ ADP 2021-2022 پر اچھی شروعات خود وزیراعلیٰ کی دی گئی ہدایات کی روشنی میں ہوئی۔

اس کے علاوہ ، CFY 2021-22 کے ADP کو نافذ کرنے میں ان کی قیمتی خدمات کے لیے محکموں کو اعتراف خط بھی بھیجے جا رہے ہیں۔

انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ فنڈز کے کم استعمال پر صوبائی محکموں کو کوئی نرمی نہیں دکھائی جائے گی۔ اس کے علاوہ ، جاریہ مالی سال کے اے ڈی پی پر عمل درآمد کے لیے اعلیٰ حصول والے محکموں کو ان کی کوششوں کے لیے اعتراف خط بھیجے گئے ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ فنڈ ہماری ذمہ داری ہے اور اسے اس کے اصل جوہر میں استعمال کیا جانا چاہیے۔ انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ چیلنجز ہیں لیکن حکومت کا عزم مضبوط ہے۔

انہوں نے اس بات پر روشنی ڈالی کہ موجودہ حکومت نے مقررہ مقاصد کے مطابق زندگی کے ہر شعبے میں مثبت تبدیلیاں لائی ہیں اور اس سال بنایا گیا بجٹ ہر شعبے کو بہتر بنانے کے حوالے سے شامل تھا۔ انہوں نے پچھلے سال کے فنڈز کے صحیح استعمال کو بھی تسلیم کیا۔
