CM orders monitoring of uplift projects in Peshawar

According to a handout, chairing a meeting, he directed the Planning & Development Department to regularly monitor the progress on such projects.

Mahmood Khan directed the administrative secretaries to hold fortnight meetings to review progress. The meeting was informed that during the preparation of the budget for the current financial year, a total of 216 high priority projects were identified out of which 94 projects related to the merged districts.

It was added that two projects had been completed so far while an online tracking system has been developed to monitor progress on other schemes.

Mahmood Khan stressed the need for the timely completion of these projects said that all the departments were required to ensure the timely completion of schemes without compromising the quality of work.

Directing the Health, Education, and Local Government departments to focus special attention on improving their service delivery, he said all the service delivery departments were needed to come up to the public expectations.

محمود خان نے انتظامی سیکرٹریوں کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ پیش رفت کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے پندرہ روزہ اجلاس منعقد کریں۔ اجلاس کو بتایا گیا کہ رواں مالی سال کے بجٹ کی تیاری کے دوران کل 216 اعلیٰ ترجیحی منصوبوں کی نشاندہی کی گئی جن میں سے 94 منصوبے ضم شدہ اضلاع سے متعلق ہیں۔

اس میں مزید کہا گیا کہ اب تک دو منصوبے مکمل ہو چکے ہیں جبکہ ایک آن لائن ٹریکنگ سسٹم تیار کیا گیا ہے تاکہ دیگر اسکیموں پر پیش رفت کی نگرانی کی جا سکے۔

محمود خان نے ان منصوبوں کی بروقت تکمیل کی ضرورت پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ تمام محکموں کو کام کے معیار پر سمجھوتہ کیے بغیر اسکیموں کی بروقت تکمیل کو یقینی بنانا ضروری ہے۔

صحت ، تعلیم اور مقامی حکومتوں کے محکموں کو اپنی سروس کی فراہمی کو بہتر بنانے پر خصوصی توجہ مرکوز کرنے کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے ، انہوں نے کہا کہ تمام سروس ڈیلیوری محکموں کو عوامی توقعات پر پورا اترنے کی ضرورت ہے۔
