CM approves construction of a theme park at the Lahore Safari Zoo

At a meeting held here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, approved the creation of a "Zoo & Wildlife Management Authority" to offer children and the general public the most recreational opportunities possible.

By adding South Asian and African theme zones, the Safari Zoo will be transformed into a recreation destination of the highest calibre.

The CM announced that the Zoo & Wildlife Management Authority will work for the development and restoration of the zoo houses and safari zoos around Punjab while giving clearance to create the organization.

Further instructions from the CM included establishing a ride history gallery at these venues and introducing novelties like the tiger tunnel in the Safari Zoo. He also ordered an assessment of bird breeding practices at the Zoo and Safari Zoo.

بدھ کو یہاں منعقدہ ایک اجلاس میں، وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب چوہدری پرویز الٰہی نے بچوں اور عام لوگوں کو ممکنہ حد تک تفریحی مواقع فراہم کرنے کے لیے "زو اینڈ وائلڈ لائف مینجمنٹ اتھارٹی" کے قیام کی منظوری دی۔
جنوبی ایشیائی اور افریقی تھیم زونز کو شامل کرنے سے، سفاری چڑیا گھر کو اعلیٰ ترین صلاحیت کے تفریحی مقام میں تبدیل کر دیا جائے گا۔
وزیراعلیٰ نے اعلان کیا کہ چڑیا گھر اور وائلڈ لائف مینجمنٹ اتھارٹی پنجاب کے ارد گرد چڑیا گھر اور سفاری چڑیا گھر کی ترقی اور بحالی کے لیے کام کرے گی اور تنظیم بنانے کی منظوری دے گی۔
وزیراعلیٰ کی مزید ہدایات میں ان مقامات پر رائڈ ہسٹری گیلری کا قیام اور سفاری زو میں ٹائیگر ٹنل جیسی نئی چیزیں متعارف کرانا شامل ہے۔ انہوں نے چڑیا گھر اور سفاری چڑیا گھر میں پرندوں کی افزائش کے طریقوں کا جائزہ لینے کا بھی حکم دیا۔
