LAHORE: BIE is the first-ever project of its own kind in South Punjab under the vision of PM Imran Khan to bring less or non-developed areas of the country at par with developed ones. The BIE will definitely usher in a new era of development.
Punjab Industrial Estate Development and Management Company’s chairman Syed Nabeek Hashmi stated that BIE would also help alleviate poverty and backwardness in this area.
He was of the view that the uninterrupted efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar had made it possible to establish this industrial estate in South Punjab.
Chairman stated that this industrial estate would be developed on the concept Sundar Industrial estate Lahore. At Sundar Industrial Estate all facilities including electricity, gas, roads, sewerage, and other developmental facilities are being provided.
Chairman Hashmi explained that Bahawalpur Industrial Estate was a well-paid project of the PIEDMC covering over 483 acres of land. This Estate will be developed to fulfill the needs and preferences of the local area. Since, there is no planned industrial estate available in the surrounding areas, the establishment of Bahawalpur Industrial estate will be a landmark project in order to uplift the overall industry of the region, generating employment for the local residents.
لاہور: وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے وژن کے تحت جنوبی پنجاب میں اپنی نوعیت کا پہلا منصوبہ ہے جو ترقی یافتہ علاقوں کے برابر ملک کے کم یا غیر ترقی یافتہ علاقوں میں لائے گا۔ BIE یقینی طور پر ترقی کے ایک نئے دور کا آغاز کرے گا۔
پنجاب انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ ڈویلپمنٹ اینڈ منیجمنٹ کمپنی کے چیئرمین سید نبک ہاشمی نے بتایا کہ بی آئی ای اس علاقے سے غربت اور پسماندگی کے خاتمے میں بھی مددگار ہوگی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب سردار عثمان بزدار کی بلا تعطل کوششوں سے جنوبی پنجاب میں اس صنعتی اسٹیٹ کا قیام ممکن ہوا ہے۔
چیئرمین نے بتایا کہ یہ صنعتی اسٹیٹ سندر انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ لاہور کے تصور پر تیار کیا جائے گا۔ سندر انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ میں بجلی ، گیس ، سڑکیں ، نکاسی آب ، اور دیگر ترقیاتی سہولیات سمیت تمام سہولیات فراہم کی جارہی ہیں۔
چیئرمین ہاشمی نے وضاحت کی کہ بہاولپور انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ پی آئی ای ڈی ایم سی کا ایک معاوضہ پروجیکٹ ہے جس میں 483 ایکڑ اراضی پر محیط ہے۔ اس اسٹیٹ کو مقامی علاقے کی ضروریات اور ترجیحات کو پورا کرنے کے لئے تیار کیا جائے گا۔ چونکہ آس پاس کے علاقوں میں کوئی منصوبہ بند صنعتی اسٹیٹ دستیاب نہیں ہے ، لہذا بہاولپور صنعتی اسٹیٹ کا قیام اس خطے کی مجموعی صنعت کو ترقی دینے کے لئے ایک اہم نشان منصوبہ ہوگا جس سے مقامی باشندوں کے لئے روزگار پیدا ہوگا۔
