300 megawatts coal-fired Gwadar Power Plant to start functioning by 2023

According to the master plan of Gwadar-2050 is of key importance for the development of Gwadar in the future. The completion of this project will help to improve the reliability of the local power supply. This will further help improve the current conditions present for economic development and urban construction by removing any technical obstructions. 

Currently, millions of dollars are being spent on an annum basis to generate electricity from diesel generators for the people of Gwadar. However, with the completion of this power plant, the port’s power scarcity issues will be addressed and resolved. Added to that, the project is of great importance to both, China and Pakistan since it will help deepen the energy cooperation between both countries.

گوادر: 300 میگاواٹ کا کوئلے سے چلنے والا گوادر پاور پلانٹ اکتوبر 2023 تک فعال ہو جائے گا، جس سے گوادر کے تقریباً 150,000 لوگوں کی بجلی کی ضروریات کو پورا کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔
گوادر کے ماسٹر پلان کے مطابق 2050 مستقبل میں گوادر کی ترقی کے لیے کلیدی اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔ اس منصوبے کی تکمیل سے مقامی بجلی کی فراہمی کے اعتبار کو بہتر بنانے میں مدد ملے گی۔ اس سے معاشی ترقی اور شہری تعمیرات کے لیے موجودہ حالات کو کسی تکنیکی رکاوٹ کو دور کرکے بہتر بنانے میں مزید مدد ملے گی۔
اس وقت گوادر کے عوام کے لیے ڈیزل جنریٹرز سے بجلی پیدا کرنے کے لیے سالانہ بنیادوں پر لاکھوں ڈالر خرچ کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ تاہم اس پاور پلانٹ کی تکمیل سے بندرگاہ کے بجلی کی قلت کے مسائل حل ہو جائیں گے۔ اس کے علاوہ یہ منصوبہ چین اور پاکستان دونوں کے لیے بہت اہمیت کا حامل ہے کیونکہ اس سے دونوں ممالک کے درمیان توانائی کے شعبے میں تعاون کو مزید گہرا کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔
